In a few words, give us a brief bio of your site daily deal site www.OneDollar.co.nz
OneDollar.co.nz is a one day sale site with a twist! Every day, from 12pm, there is a product available for just $1!  Plus three other heavily discounted products. But, you have to be quick, we only have limited stock, and these products go fast! 

1) What made you want to start your daily deal site?
Firstly, we don’t like missing out on all the fun! Secondly, we saw a gap in the market to offer bargain-loving Kiwis something more in the daily deal department, we love that we are able to offer a fantastic product every day for only a dollar. 

2) How long have you been doing daily deals?
We launched 30^th September 2010 –one month down, many more to come!

3) What makes your daily deals different to others?
We get that Kiwis are overwhelmed with lots of daily deal websites. That’s why we knew ours had to offer something that was a) really different and b) really enticing. So, when we came up with the idea of offering one product a day at only one dollar, we knew we had our point of difference. We’re the only site like ours, you won’t be guaranteed a daily one dollar item anywhere else, and because of that, we’re getting a great reaction. 

6) Where do your promote your site and what is most effective?
Because it is so timely, our social media is an effective promotional tool for us. We update our Facebook and Twitter accounts as soon as new deals break and always get a great response. The great thing about having a daily one dollar item is that traffic quickly finds us by word out mouth – people race to the site to see if their work colleague was telling fibs that we’re offering a spin bike for $1 – it does happen! And not to mention we are fortunate to be listed on sites such as www.OneDaySaleFinder.co.nz!

7) Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. Why should people recommend you to their friends?
It’s simple – every day there is an item to buy for $1! – people want to hear about that!  And three other heavily discounted items each day. Plus, we place huge importance on not only offering four fantastic value daily deals but also on delivering a great service.  We try to ensure the site is easy to use, we dispatch within 24 hours, and we have a good range of quality products changing out daily.

9) How quickly can people expect to receive their bargains from you?
Items are dispatched within 24 hours so turnaround is 1-2 days

10) Do you take requests from customers if they are interested in certain products?
Of course! We are always wanting to know what people are looking for! So contact us if you have any great ideas!
